Continue the summer fun this Labor Day weekend at Campland on the Bay, with an activities schedule filled with family-friendly activities and live entertainment for resort guests at the iconic campground on San Diego’s Mission Bay.

From Friday, Sept. 2 through Monday, Sept. 5, Campland will host various fun-filled games and activities to entertain kids outdoors, giving parents time to relax and enjoy the resort’s idyllic bayfront setting.

Children are invited to get creative at a tie-dye workshop, cool off on Campland’s Giant Water Slide, burn some energy during a game of dodgeball or soccer, and more. Adults can also join in the fun with horseshoe tournaments, bingo nights, and a bean bags toss tournament.

The holiday weekend of activities and live entertainment continues into the evening with Campland Rocks featuring the region’s top tribute bands. Get up and dance or bring blankets and lawn chairs to lounge on while enjoying outdoor musical performances. Dine before and during the show with takeout food and drinks from Campland’s Cantina restaurant and bar, just steps from the stage.

Campland’s activities and amenities are also available to guests camping at Mission Bay RV Resort, accessible via a short walk or bike ride over the Mike Gotch Memorial Bridge. For guests who do not own an RV, local RV rental companies can deliver a sanitized RV to your site, set up and ready to enjoy. RV rental arrangements must be made directly through the rental companies. Tent camping is also available at Campland on the Bay, which offers the most affordable and family-friendly waterfront accommodations in Mission Bay Park.

In cooperation with California Coastal Commission, Campland also recently launched an unprecedented free camping program for underserved youth and families. To learn more and to determine eligibility, please call (858) 581-4265 or visit Campland.com/free-camping-program.
