An unconscious person was rushed to the hospital Thursday after being involved in a double rollover crash and getting ejected from the vehicle in the El Cajon area of San Diego.
The crash, involving a pickup and black Mercedes-Benz, was reported around 2:30 a.m. on eastbound I-8 at El Cajon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Responding emergency crews arrived at the scene to find the Mercedes overturned and up an embankment, while the pickup was upside down on the freeway lanes, according to ABC 10.
A second person was also taken to the hospital.
The conditions of the victims are unknown and CHP officials said they are trying to determine what led to the accident.
