A late-afternoon fire damaged a townhouse in Linda Vista Friday, displacing two residents.
The non-injury blaze erupted for unknown reasons at about 5:30 p.m. on the second floor of the two-story residence in the 7500 block of Fulton Street, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.
It took crews less than 10 minutes to gain control of the flames, the agency reported.
The American Red Cross will help the two adults from the townhouse arrange for interim shelter.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
