Deputies Break Up Fight Between Two Women at Poway Day Care Center

A 31-year-old woman was arrested Wednesday after a fight with another woman at a day care center in Poway.

San Diego Sheriff’s deputies were called at 9:05 a.m. to Head Start Poway Day Care Center at 13910 Midland Road after reports of a fight in the parking lot.

Lt. John Buckley said the assailant, who was seated in her car, threaten to use a gun against the other woman, then drove away, striking that woman’s car and injuring her.

The victim, a 40-year-old woman, suffered injuries to her face and was taken to Palomar Medical Center Poway.

Deputies arrested Chatney Norvell on suspicion of battery and multiple weapons violations. She was booked into the Las Colinas Detention Facility.
