Today we celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.! In his 39 years of life, he did beyond what many of us could even imagine for ourselves. He changed, lead, and shaped this nation in a time that seems so foreign but sadly so similar to what goes on in the development of race relations today. We are so blessed to have had MLK grace this earth and so incredibly lucky to have him a part of our history. I’m so thankful he tapped into his calling and walked in his destiny! I can’t imagine where we would be today if MLK said no to what God had planned! So inspired by him and his fearlessness! 🌸

Martin Luther King Day is a day for everyone! It’s a celebration for all! MLK was well known for his affirming and moving quotes and one of my favorites is this, “Faith is taking the first step even when you can’t see the whole staircase!” Let us be so moved to make changes in our lives even without the privilege of seeing the finish product. 🤟🏾
