The Barn Redefined announced it will host its annual “Christmas at the Barn” event beginning Nov. 3.
The store, located at 14051 Midland Road in Poway, is popular for its home decor items and decorating ideas. This year, owner Liz McNamara, who co-owns the store with her mom, Debi McNamara, said customers can expect 25 themed Christmas trees. Among the themes include, “My Favorite Things,” “Merry Little Princess,” “Partridge in a Pear Tree,” and “Mrs. Clause’s Bake Shop & Santa’s Diner.”
“Our front tree is a completely new tree this year, it is called ‘Natural Surroundings’ and it is all white and natural wood,” Liz McNamara said. “A very soft, yet fun tree. We also have a tree full of deep purples and pinks this year, a camping-inspired tree and more. I think the inspiration in each tree will really get the customers’ creative minds going to go home and put their own twist into their trees and décor.”
Aside from the decor, customers can also expect appearances from Santa and a toy drive for Anvil of Hope, a nonprofit focused on helping low-income families, those facing homelessness and temporary hardship.
“Our Christmas open house has been such a magnificent shopping experience for many years, with an amazing turnout and we are excited to be able to do it again,” McNamara said. “Come enjoy the magic of Christmas where we believe in Santa, nativity scenes, and saying, ‘Merry Christmas.’”
The event will take place from Nov. 3 to Nov. 6, Nov. 10 to Nov. 13 and Nov. 17 to Nov. 20.
