A 30-year-old Black man was shot to death early Monday during an argument in a parking lot in Logan Heights.

San Diego Police officers found the victim with a gunshot wound to his chest near 22nd Street and Imperial Avenue around 2:50 a.m.

Officers began performing life saving measures until paramedics arrived. The man was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced deceased at 3:29 a.m.

Police said the suspect is a Black man in his late 20s or early 30s wearing dark clothing.
