The 56th Annual CMA Awards gala is kicking off Wednesday night, but winners are already being announced.

Voting for the awards took place in October, with eligible members of the Country Music Association casting ballots for the next in country music this year.

The gala will be broadcast live at 8 p.m. ET.

Prior to the big ceremony, which will be hosted by Luke Bryan and feature performances by Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood and more, two award winners were revealed.

Carly Pearce and Ashley McBryde’s “Never Wanted To Be That Girl” won Musical Event of the Year, while Cody Johnson won Music Video of the Year for “‘Til You Can’t”.
